UCLA freshman forward Reeves Nelson has undergone laser eye surgery to repair a slight tear in his retina. The university says Nelson had the procedure Monday at UCLA’s Jules Stein Eye Institute. Dr. Steven Schwartz says Nelson tolerated the procedure well. He says the tear should not affect Nelson’s ability to see the court.
